Denver Harp Lessons

Barbara Lepke-Sims of Sacred Space loves to teach harp lessons to students of all ages in Denver.

Whether you're starting from the beginning, want to improve your technique, or have a specific goal in mind, Barbara will customize each harp lesson specifically for you.

As a collegiate student, you may study with Barbara at the university-level through Colorado Christian University and Regis University where she is an Affiliate Faculty Member in Applied Harp.

Barbara is able to help Denver students find an instrument to either rent or purchase when beginning harp lessons.  Most beginner students start with a 30 minute lesson and gradually work their way to hour long sessions.  While students make a lot of progress during each lesson, it is important for students to own their studies and practice during the week to improve their skills.

With a vast array of experience, Barbara is well-versed in helping her harp students meet a variety of goals. Her harp lessons are relevant for all skill levels to:

• Learn beginner fundamentals
• Improve technique
• Prepare to play in churches, nursing homes, recitals, restaurants, or studios
• Develop orchestra-level skills
• Become well-versed in playing live therapeutic music

Versatile Denver Harp Lessons Open Future Opportunities

Barbara focuses on preparing her students for a variety of applications and career opportunities. She engages her students in harp recitals, chamber music, orchestras, and even harp ensembles such as Harp Fantasia, a concert sponsored by the Mile High Chapter of the AHS at the Lakewood Cultural Center.  She tries very hard to let students gain real world experience both in and out of their formal studies.
